*Pool Buoy provides all customers with 1 bottle of Winterizing Algaecide, 1 bottle of Stain Prevent, 1 4 litre jug of Plumbing Anti-Freeze, and 20 litres of Liquid Chlorine as a part of our pool closing package.

*Additional water-bags and/or winterizing accessories will be billed additionally should they be required.

• Skimming pool surface
  This is done with a leaf-rake or a surface net to remove leaves and debris on the pools surface that may clog your filtration system and cause your filter to breakdown.
• Clean scumline build-up
  This is to remove oil, grease and dirt build-up on the edges around the pool that can turn into a thick coating of slime on the tiles of a pool.
• Brushing pool walls
  Using an algae brush, this process eliminates and prevents algae build-up along pool walls that can eventually cause the pool water to turn green in colour.
• Vacuum pool
  This is done with a standard pool vacuum to clean the pool floor of debris such as leaves, dirt, and sand from pool filters so that it does not clog any of the pools drainage systems.
• Clean all filter and skimmer baskets
  This is to ensure that all baskets are clean so that water can easily flow through them. If any one of the baskets are clogged with debris of any sort it will cause the filter to break down and as a result pool water will become cloudy or green due to the improper circulation of water.
• Backwash pool filter
  Backwashing works to flush out the dirt and debris that is collected in the pool filter. This must be done on a regular basis to maintain the cleanliness of the filter and water clarity.
• Analyse and balance water chemistry
  This is done to make sure chlorine, ph, and alkalinity levels are properly balanced. Failure to do this can lead to poor water clarity or algae build up in your pool that causes water to turn greenish in colour. Chemicals supplied (residential pools only) if desired.

*The services mentioned above MUST be completed at least once a week to ensure the cleanliness of your pool throughout the summer. You may book additional cleaning appointments if you wish to do so.
